UIPM 2026 Pentathlon U17 World Championships: Czechia crowned after Mixed Relay glory

Modern Pentathlon

Czechia made their first medal of the week a very meaningful one as Klara Juskova and Teodor Raska combined for Mixed Relay gold to bring the curtain down on the UIPM 2026 Pentathlon U17 World Championships.

A stacked field of 20 nations representing four continents gave fans in Kaunas (LTU one final glimpse into the sport’s future. It looks very bright for Czechia (Juskova/Raska) after their duo turned in a superbly consistent performance across all five disciplines to top the podium on Wednesday.

They weren’t without challengers with Pollyanna Warman and Kruze Frampton of Great Britain pushing them all the way to the finish line. The battle for bronze was a nail biting one but Mariam Abdelnaser and Mohamed Abdelmgeed of Egypt clung on to deny Lithuania (Astja Brovkaite & Rokas Sungaila)

Fifth place went to Hungary (Virag Pleban & Benedek Kantor) with the duo from Japan (Wakana Uchiyama & Keisuke Shimura) digging deep for sixth.

With Hungary having taken two gold medals across all events, the rest were spread out among five nations: South Africa, Germany, Türkiye, Egypt and Czechia.
